Organisation Outline:
The Joint Environmental Markets Unit (JEMU) is a UK Government Unit with responsibility for promoting and supporting the UK environmental industry.
JEMU is jointly staffed by the UK Department of Trade and Industry and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. UK companies can register for free on a database of environmental technology and services which is availble online from the website. The database can be searched to find UK sources of environmental technology, services and expertise, environmental suppliers, directories of trade associations,
professional bodies, R & D organisations, training providers and demonstration sites in the UK. A quarterly magazine is published covering global market opportunities, events and sources of funding for environmental projects. It is available by free
subscription after registering via the website. Email enquiries via on-line enquiry form
